Nothing new to report on Borderlands since the Game Informer cover, but in honor of the anniversary of Operation Market Garden, Gearboxity has featured a week-long series of write-ups covering the events of Market Garden, each accompanied by a brand new screenshot of Hell's Highway.

Gaming has of course been good lately, with recent releases BioShock and Metroid Prime 3 getting most of my focus. Thanks to upcoming powerhouses like Halo 3, Mass Effect, and The Orange Box plus some dark horses like Blacksite: Area 51 and World in Conflict, I plan to be at an obscene level of enjoyment by year's end.

As for that "Orange Box" thing... There's this new "Team Fortress 2" game you can play when you pre-order it. And it's pretty much the best thing ever.

Yes, after all this time Valve has, in simplest form, re-skinned TFC. Yet, somehow, with a smattering of tweaking, trimming, and tightening, the same game I played years ago is shattering through to new levels of fun - to the point where I find myself eager to play a shooter online for the first time in ~5 years. As if the polished gameplay wasn't enough, then they herded them onto a boat wrapped it all up with some of the best presentation and personality ever seen in a game. If Portal and Episode Two even come close, consumers may very well explode.
