My apologies to those of you actually looking for some so-called "content." If I'd had any idea it would take this long to get things up and running I'd have held off on going live for quite a bit longer. Content is porting over quick, but I've been struggling to find a design for the content listings I'm actually happy with. I am, at least, happy with the results of going back and taking fresh screenshots for all my past work. If only I'd known the first time around that the best angle of one hallway in Eclipse was exactly the opposite of what I had posted before...
While I failed miserably in making use of the time offered by a two-week stretch of Maggie and Reilan being back in Nebraska, that other thing that's been slowing me down (known in some circles as "work") has been making significant progress. Why, you might even get to see it soon if you're extra nice.

Well, since everyone was nice (except you), you get to see goodies.
For the last ~7 months since I arrived at Gearbox, I've been working on a little game by the name of Borderlands. As you may have noticed by the new featured item on the sidebar, we're being announced by way of the September issue of Game Informer magazine, which should be on shelves shortly.
I, of course, strongly encourage you to pick up a copy, read it (with gusto if possible), and then come talk about it on the just-launched Borderlands forum on the Gearbox website.

Hey, will you look at that... it lives!
I've finally got things sorted out to the point where I'm comfortable opening the portfolio section up again. There's still a lot of work to be done, but I've retaken almost all my screenshots in widescreen and re-written descriptions for all of my Quake 4 map pack and Natural Selection maps, plus all but two of my stock Quake 4 levels. They should be much more interesting reads now.
All of my older levels will receive the same treatment eventually, but I figure it's more important to get the shiny pictures up than rack my brain writing descriptions for maps released 5+ years ago.
Oh, those of you who are fans of Repair Bay 4 from my HLDM lineup will be pleased to know that, after reviewing the map again to take new screenshots, I now in fact agree that it is among my strongest levels, and the new writeup will be retconned to reflect this.
