Chris Holden, the designer on NanoLegends, the previously unnamed educational title I worked on prior to my arrival at Raven, has put up a small sampling of the art featured in the game as well as a small description of it. You can find that on his site here. Hopefully I'll have some snippets of the writing I did sometime soon, though I know that plenty of things got shifted after my contribution was complete and what I remember being there might not be there now... eep!

So I'm a daddy now. Pictures up in the gallery. More later when there's less to do. :)

Time for some baby video! Clip 1 is from some random point in the afternoon on the day of birth. Clip 2 comes from just a short while before I made this post, on the little guy's first Christmas. Things have been going very well so far. We're usually up once per night if things are going well and the baby sleeps all the time. There's plenty of time for more relaxing stuff in the middle of the feeding and diaper changes, ranging from Maggie jumping into the next Harry Potter book (#5 for her), and me tearing through PGR3, Jak, and working on some Q4 DM and CTF maps. Speaking of Quake 4 stuff, a map pack was just released the other day, including 3 new maps from Raven - "Railed," a small and appropriately named level, "Campgrounds Redux," a re-make of the popular Q3DM6, and "Tremors," a new CTF map. Matt "Lunaran" Breit and I put together a tag-team effort on Tremors, and it seems to be pretty popular so far, at least as far as CTF maps go. Woo! Christmas was a nice low-key affair... My parents made a last-minute trip up from Nebraska to see their new grandson, but we had no other visitors. Coolest gift: Babylon 5 seasons 1 and 2 from Maggie's parents. Sadly, no games, though Maggie did grab a couple 1600 Microsoft Point cards and second 360 controller (wired, too, for easy PC use :) ). We'll have to romp through some co-op Kameo. Guess I'm on my own for picking up Kong, Condemned, and DOA4 whenever it ships... Oh, I finally got Pacifism in Geometry Wars, confirming my position as all-around awesome guy for years to come. Eat it, random colored shapes!
